Dan considers himself to be a Spiritualist and endeavours to follow the seven principles of spiritualism.

They are:

1. The fatherhood of God
2. The brotherhood of man
3. The communion of spirits and the ministry of Angels
4. The continuous existence of the human soul
5. Personal responsibility
6. Compensation & retribution for all good & evil done on earth
7. Eternal progression open to every human soul.

Dan does not force his spiritual beliefs on other people and respects all other faiths.

Dan believes that he has been given an incredible gift and that it should not be used for any personal gain but to instead help others.
