A naturally gifted Clairvoyant and Spiritual Medium, born and bred in Bournemouth, Dorset, Dan’s early years were quite traumatic and unhappy. As a child he always knew that he was different from other children and spent a lot of time on his own talking to what he thought were imaginary people.

From 16 and into his 30’s, Dan suffered from severe depression. During this time he felt like a lost soul, drifting from one place to another, carrying with him an overwhelming feeling of not belonging anywhere and having no purpose in life. For a short period of time he turned to drink and drugs in the hope it would relieve his unhappiness and despair. He eventually suffered from several nervous breakdowns that affected both his working and social life.

Dan eventually moved to Berkeley in Gloucestershire to stay with his beloved Grandmother. Rather than feeling better during this time, Dan’s health deteriorated rapidly and his encounters with the ‘paranormal’ increased dramatically. He would hear voices and would see people who weren’t there. He  would feel taps on his shoulder, and could often be found frantically searching the house for intruders after hearing the sound of footsteps. A frame with a picture of his grandparents at their wedding day was thrown across a room right in front of him. Terrified by these events, Dan thought he was going insane, not daring to tell anyone in case they didn’t believe him. It was only later that he realized that his Grandfather, who had  passed to the Spirit World more than 30 years before, was desperately trying to attract his attention.
